Not interchangeable
The power supply of an industrial computer cannot be used interchangeably with that of an ordinary computer. The power supply of an industrial computer (industrial computer power supply) is significantly different from that of an ordinary computer power supply in terms of design, performance, and applicable scenarios, so they cannot be used interchangeably.
The difference between industrial computer power supply and ordinary power supply
Higher stability requirements: Industrial computer power supplies require higher voltage stability and ripple noise control to ensure the operating stability and safety of the equipment.
Higher safety: Industrial computer power supplies need to pass higher safety certifications, such as CE, FCC, UL, CCC, ROHS, etc., to ensure the safety and compliance of the power supply.
Larger power supply capacity: The industrial computer power supply needs to have a larger power supply capacity to meet the needs of high-performance industrial control equipment.
Higher working environment requirements: Industrial computer power supplies need to adapt to harsher working environments, such as high temperature, low temperature, humidity, dust, etc.
Applicable scenarios and design differences
Industrial Computer Power Supply: Designed specifically for the industrial control field, suitable for complex industrial environments, with higher shock and interference resistance, suitable for 24-hour uninterrupted work.
Ordinary power supply: The design is not as strict as that of industrial computer power supply. It is suitable for ordinary office and home equipment. It does not have the high stability and safety requirements of industrial computer power supply.
