Open Frame Screen No Polarizer Film

Introduction

An Open Frame Screen No Polarizer Film is a modified TFT LCD module where the polarizer layer-normally used to control light direction-is removed. This results in a transparent or semi-transparent screen that allows ambient or rear-projected light to pass through.

Features

High clarity
The Open Frame Screen No Polarizer Film use optical-grade acrylic or tempered glass substrates with a transmittance of ≥92%, which is much higher than ordinary PET film (transmittance of about 85%). The non-polarizing film design reduces light loss and ensures that the screen still maintains high contrast in strong light environments. It is suitable for scenes with high display accuracy requirements such as industrial control and medical equipment.

Wide temperature adaptability
Our products have an operating temperature range of -30℃~85℃ and use low thermal expansion coefficient materials (CTE<5×10⁻⁶/℃). They do not deform at high temperatures and do not crack at low temperatures. Secondly, they are more suitable for environments than conventional screens (-10℃~60℃), especially for outdoor equipment or industrial environments with large temperature differences.

Non-polarizing film design
Our products can directly adapt to the native signal of the LCD panel, eliminating the polarizing film layer and reducing the assembly process by 20%. The thickness is controlled at 1.1mm±0.05mm, which is 30% thinner than the screen with polarizing film, making it easier to integrate into compact equipment and save structural space.
