Differences Between IPC and Consumer PC

Industrial PC: Prioritizes stability. IPCs have well-designed airflow and are equipped with 4 to 6 cooling fans. Even if one fan fails, the system's temperature remains stable for a short time. IPCs are often expected to operate year-round without crashing, so consistent temperature control is crucial.

Consumer PC: Focuses on speed and rich external device support. Features like wireless connectivity, Bluetooth modules, 7.1 audio systems, and external projectors are common. Consumer PCs aim to offer versatile functionality and fast performance.

IPC Power Supply: Must be stable and reliable. Though the power output may not be high, every resistor and capacitor inside is typically industrial or even military-grade to ensure no change in performance over long-term use.

Consumer PC Power Supply: Often high-powered (e.g., 500W is common) to support large graphics cards, but to reduce costs, many components are consumer-grade. Higher-grade components significantly increase the cost.
